The Silver Sliver

3/4 oz. Simple syrup

3/4 oz. Fresh lemon juice

1 Egg white

2 oz. white Vermouth

OPTIONAL: 1-2 Makrut lime leaves (check your local Asian market), or fresh lemon or lime leaves — but make sure they’re for food and haven’t been sprayed for bugs.

Muddle leaves in empty shaker. Add ice, syrup, lemon juice, egg white, Vermouth. Shake for about 20 seconds or until you hear a slight change in the mixture that indicates it’s foaming up.

Drain the ice out of cocktail shaker, close shaker and “dry-shake” for another twenty seconds or so.

Fine-strain into cocktail glass or chilled coupe. Enjoy!
